At Route 1 Design you will discover that working
with a graphic design studio can be uncomplicated, enjoyable
- and cost effective.
The following costs for graphic design services represent
price guidelines. These prices may vary based on the
initial design discussion. You will always know the
final cost of a design project before it is completed.
All artwork is 100% guaranteed to meet your expectations
or 100% refundable.
If you are a new client or if you are a vendor, you
are required to place 50% down prior to viewing concept(s)
and the balance due upon approval of the final art.
Not for profit organizations recognized by the Internal
Revenue Service (IRS) may qualify for special pricing.
Appropriate documentation must be supplied - Internal
Revenue Service 501(c)(3) designation letter; Sales
tax exempt certificate (if applicable to your organization).
Route 1 Design accepts checks or money orders (no credit
cards at this time) payable to: Jeffrey Schipritt. Checks
must be drawn on a US bank. All payments must be in
US dollars.
All copy and any graphic content must be provided by
the client on disk or electronically. Any supplied text,
art and photography files are the responsibility of
the client and are assumed to be copyright and/or royalty
free. If supplied art is determined to be below acceptable
standards, a production fee will be charged to update
the material. Route 1 Design reserves the right not
to use material deemed improper or offensive.
Project proofs are provided online for client review and approval. Colors, where applicable, are specified as RGB, PMS or CMYK. Please be aware that variations in computer monitors prevent the accuracy of colors as viewed from being guaranteed.
Domain ownership, Internet service providers and website
maintenance are the responsibility of the client unless
other arrangements are agreed upon. Website design includes
text and Meta Tag optimization for compatibility with
Internet search engines. You may wish to arrange additional
search engine optimization, website statistics access
and reporting with your Internet service provider and
through paid web-based programs.
You own the rights to the graphics that you purchase,
exclusive of conceptual art. Where applicable, it is your responsibility to Trademark or Register your brand.
Original artwork and media
files will be provided on CD or available for download
on the Internet. Original art (PSD or AI) is provided
in PMS (Pantone Matching System) colors, converted to
CMYK (300 dpi) for print files (EPS, TIFF or PDF) and
RGB (72 dpi) for Internet files (GIF or JPEG). Website
design and Web animation art will be produced in Adobe
Photoshop and provided as RGB (72 dpi) GIF, JPEG or as Flash files.
Website layout proofs will be provided as JPEGs, coding
in HTML as applicable. Desktop publishing documents
will be produced as QuarkXPress or Adobe InDesign files.
Route 1 Design reserves the right to use the graphics
that it produces for the promotion of its design services.
Route 1 Design will always be available to supply
you with duplicate files or to assist you with any usage
questions that may arise. Customer service is always
free!

- Interactive elements such as activity calendars, shopping carts/online payment, registration, email announcements and blogs are priced separately.
- If during initial discussion it is determined
that design elements or update requests are
unusually complex, special pricing will be applied.
- Route 1 Design can, if required, design and/or coordinate sponsor and advertiser banner ad placement and hyperlinks.
- Search engine optimization, website statistics
access and reporting through paid web-based
programs can be arranged.
- Route 1 Design does not provide Internet hosting,
email or hosting set-up services. The Internet
service provider can supply the necessary FTP
information to upload and maintain Website
files. Password restricted access to Web pages
must be coordinated with the Internet service
provider.
